• 1 pack of Bel Gaufre vanilla waffles
• 6 cups fresh strawberries chopped into pieces
• 1 cup white chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 tbsp. flour
• 1 tsp. lemon zest
• 2 cups cream
• Icing sugar to decorate
Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Butter a baking tin. Cut the waffles into small cubes. Put half of the waffle cubes at the bottom of the mold. Add half of the white chocolate and strawberries. Repeat the waffle – chocolate – strawberry stages with the rest of these ingredients.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs, sugar, cream and lemon zest. Pour this mixture on the waffle layer and let stand for 10 minutes. Bake for 35 minutes or until clafoutis is golden brown. Decorate with icing sugar. Serve hot or cold.
